Tom is a seasoned executive (Sales/Marketing/GM/CEO) with over 20 years of progressive experience in the Networking/Communications industry. Tom has diverse operating skills at the startup level, global OEM and Channel experience, and broad exposure to high-tech business strategies.
Most recently, Tom was Vice President of
Sales and Business Development for NCast, a startup developer of high-end Multimedia Capture and Streaming Appliances where he helped streamline the operations and quintuple the revenues. Prior to NCast, Tom was CEO of RadioLAN, a pioneer of 5 GHz wireless networking technology and market leader in broadband wireless. Tom joined RadioLAN in 1997 as Director of Channel Sales and also held the role of Vice President of Strategic Marketing and Business Development. Prior to RadioLAN, he served the pre- and post-IPO Proxim Corporation as Director of OEM sales, and earlier, as Director of Channel Sales.
In the late 80's, Tom held sales and marketing positions at Identica, Alloy Computer Products, and Gates Distributing/FA Components. Tom graduated with a BA in Biology/Genetics and a minor in Computer Science from the University of Rochester in upstate New York.
