Third-generation entrepreneur, Simone Romagna successfully leads the family business Trasporti Romagna which today is a leading company in Italy for transportation and integrated logistics. Since the 1990s, he has demonstrated his dedication and passion by starting his professional career at the company founded by his grandfather Filiberto in 1925.
Over the years, he has assumed roles of increasing responsibility, until becoming the CEO in 2011. His leadership and strategic vision have led the company to achieve great success. Despite the majority share transfer to investment funds N.B., Unigrains, and Banca Intesa in 2016, and subsequently in 2022 with the entry of ITER/EURIZON funds, Simone Romagna has continued to guide the company towards new important milestones. Under his guidance, the number of employees and collaborators has significantly increased from 300 to 2,741. The Group’s turnover has also reached €295 million, an extraordinary result that highlights the efficiency and competitiveness of the company in the reference market. Simone Romagna not only represents a leader in the business field but is also actively involved in the national transport industry. He holds the position of President of the FAI (Italian Road Haulage Federation) in Vicenza and Vice President of the regional committee. In addition, his participation as a member of the national executive board highlights his commitment to shaping the transport industry in Italy.
