Trasporti Romagna, a leading company in the field of transportation and integrated logistics, was established in 1925 in Malo, located in the province of Vicenza, Italy. With a specialization in temperature-controlled food sector, the company has garnered extensive expertise in the transportation of various types of goods, including zootechnical
products, frozen foods, fruits and vegetables, fashion. In conjunction with its subsidiary consortium Systema, which has been responsible for handling and warehousing operations since 2008, the Group offers a comprehensive range of services encompassing road haulage, goods handling, storage, and micro-distribution. Trasporti Romagna maintains a fleet of 740 owned vehicles and about 400 subvehicles, all equipped with refrigeration units, tail lifts, electric pallet trucks, temperature recorders, and GPS systems. The Group operates a network of depots throughout Italy, dedicated to the storage, handling, and preparation of goods. Furthermore, it has recently expanded its freezing warehouse in Verona, which spans a substantial area of 24000 square meters, entirely cooled to temperatures ranging from -28°C to -20°C. Since 2011, the Group has been under the leadership of Simone Romagna, who has guided it with a vision to provide customers with a supply chain that offers both added value and a competitive advantage. Moreover, it has consistently prioritized a customer-centric approach to transport and logistics, consistently advocating a vision that places the customer at the forefront. Trasporti Romagna is among the pioneering companies in its sector to have implemented a quality management system in compliance with UNI EN ISO 9001 standards, which has been certified by Certiquality. This commitment was further reinforced in 2011 with the implementation of the GMP+B4 TRANSPORT OF FEED: ROAD TRANSPORT certification. The Group prioritizes the safety and continuous development of its workforce by organizing annual safety and refresher courses. These initiatives aim to ensure competitiveness and compliance with industry standards. In recent years, it has also taken significant steps to protect the environment and reduce CO2 emissions. This has been achieved through various measures such as the acquisition of new EURO 6 vehicles, which have expanded the Group's vehicle fleet, meticulous planning of assigned routes, rigorous vehicle maintenance and monitoring and the installation of photovoltaic systems in the main warehouses, including the one in Verona. As part of its expansion strategy, Trasporti Romagna embarked on an expansion process in collaboration with Fondo Atlante Private Equity and ITER/EURIZON funds. This initiative led to the acquisition of AnRiTrans, Blue City and Logistica 2, Sila Trasporti, Ricotrans and Vero Trasporti.
