Overview
Chow, founded EasyVan (predecessor of lalamove) in October 2013 at the age of 36, and oversees the strategic direction of the Hong Kong based tech start-up. lalamove, currently operating in Hong Kong, Singapore and Bangkok, puts tens of thousands of delivery vans, lorries, trucks on the lalamove platform and connects them to millions of
customers in the Asia Pacific region, providing a revolutionary logistics solution to the industry.
His experience and Know How
Chow is also board advisor of Compass Offices since 2012, helping it become the largest business service office provider in Hong Kong.
In addition to lalamove, Chow also founded:
Lattice Investment Partners in April 2007, which is Chow’s investment vehicle for managing his investments in private companies, public equities and the property markets;
Hong Kong Skin Centre (derma.com.hk) in 2012, which provides premium cosmetic medical services to clients in Hong Kong; and
Amigo Spa and Beauty (amigospa.com) in 2013, which provides premium spa and beauty services to clients in Hong Kong.
Prior to his entrepreneurial ventures, Chow was a professional Texas Holdem Poker player from 2002 to 2010. He won millions of US dollars at casinos and on internet in those 8 years.
Before his poker playing days, Chow was senior associate consultant at Bain & Company from 1999 to 2002, advising corporate clients on their business strategies on customer retention, fulfillment, sourcing, valuation, IPO, etc.
Background
Chow graduated from Stanford University in California, USA with a BA in Economics.
