Smith joins CrownPeak with more than 25 years experience in technology sales, most recently serving as Senior Vice President of Field Operations at Ooyala. As Senior Vice President of Field Operations at Ooyala where the
company grew its SaaS revenue over 200% in last 12 months expanding into major enterprise companies like News Corp, Bloomberg, REI, Telegraph Media, and Virgin Media. Smith has served as an executive in a number of venture backed technology companies such as Ooyala, MarketLive, Peopleclick and Convergent Communications and Fortune 500 companies like PeopleSoft and Oracle. Smith’s leadership added rapid growth to these companies, and in some cases resulting in successful fund raising, IPO’s and acquisitions.
