Robert Young is currently the co-founder & Chairman of Publish2, Inc. Robert is an entrepreneur, market disruptor, and dealmaker.
His career as a disruptor began when he played an instrumental role in launching the first nationwide consumer ISP, which he sold to Rupert Murdoch's News Corp (negotiating the first M&A deal between an Internet company and a traditional media giant).
Robert also invented & introduced Free Email to the consumer public while launching the first company to be based solely on Internet advertising, where he implemented the first instance of Pay-Per-Click advertising and organized the industry's first Internet ad sales force. Robert also acquired and ran one of the largest consumer online chat/social networking communities on the web.
Robert served as a founding board member of TrueX (acquired by Rupert Murdoch's 21st Century Fox), and was a widely-read blogger & authority on social networks/media, having written for GigaOM, Publishing 2.0 and CNET.
Robert attended Carnegie-Mellon University and started his professional career in artificial intelligence.
