Rainn holds an MFA from New York University's Graduate Acting Program at the Tisch School of the Arts. He has had a successful acting career, as well as co-founded SoulPancake, a multimedia platform to "chew on life's big questions." Rainn became involved with the Mona Foundation in 2007 and since then he and his wife, Holiday,
have visited schools that the Mona Foundation supports in Haiti and India. In 2013 they started an initiative called LIDE, a non-profit organization, which empowers impoverished adolescent girls in Haiti through artistic educational programs. In 2014 Rainn joined the Mona board of directors
