Investment professional Rafael Berber has years of business experience in international financial corporations. He is currently the Chief Executive Officer of RP Capital Group, which he established in 2004. He helps guide the company in its investments that range in public equity to alternative global markets. It specialises in selecting top
investment opportunities, both intermediate as well as long-term, for its clients who are of a high net worth or its institutional investors. Its investment team is well experienced in the financial markets of Eastern Europe, Africa, Japan and the Middle East. RP Capital Group takes on a merchant banking style and is able to structure and negotiate a vast range of private investments.
Investing in Disadvantaged Young People:
Through RP Capital Group’s support for the Prince’s Trust, which was created by Prince Charles, Rafael Berber is able to directly influence the lives of young people aged 13 – 30 who come from a disadvantaged background. Since 2005 he has been helping the Trust create programmes that have improved the lives of 700,000 young people. They do this by teaching and motivating them with social skills, preparing practical training courses and giving them badly needed financial help. By supporting and training young people, they are able to secure better jobs that will improve their lives. RP Capital supports the Prince's Trust Invest in Futures Committee of which Rafael Berber is a member. Supported by individuals from hedge fund communities as well as high level banking executives, Invest in Futures organizes an annual gala complete with famous performers to raise money for the disadvantaged.
