Peter Hwang is Managing Director, Asia for Iron Mountain Incorporated (NYSE: IRM), overseeing the company’s business portfolio in Asia which spans the ten markets of China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Macau, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan and Thailand. Iron Mountain is the
global leader for storage and information management services. Trusted by more than 230,000 organizations around the world, Iron Mountain boasts a real estate network of more than 85 million square feet across more than 1,400 facilities in 53 countries dedicated to protecting and preserving what matters most for its customers. Peter previously served as Group General Manager of Business Development of the Zuellig Group, a US$12 billion business-to-business conglomerate primarily engaged in the healthcare and agriculture sectors across Asia Pacific. Prior to joining the Zuellig Group, Peter held the position of Chief of Staff and Group Vice President of China NT Pharma, a leading pharmaceuticals distributor in China, where he oversaw the process leading to the IPO of the company.
Peter also held the position of President of Green Matters Group, a privately held investment company with interests in agriculture and commercial plantations in China. Peter worked with McKinsey & Company as an Engagement Manager based in Hong Kong and Los Angeles and with The Boeing Company as an engineer on the International Space Station project based in Los Angeles. Peter holds an MBA from Stanford University Graduate School of Business and Master's and Bachelor's degrees (Summa Cum Laude) in mechanical engineering from the University of California, Los Angeles.
