Prior to joining GAIKAI as the Chief Strategy Officer, Nanea was most recently SVP/COO, Global Online for Electronic Arts, Nanea was directly responsible for transforming the companyâ€™s legacy online systems into a highly scalable and available service layer capable of growing EA's digital revenues to over $200MM in 2010. During her tenure at EA, Nanea was responsible for the delivery of a worldwide digital distribution solution with 32 eCommerce storefronts, Global Identity, microtransaction capabilities across multiple platforms, best-in-class web architecture, global data warehouse and a new Community/Multiplayer service layer.
Nanea came to EA through the acquisition of JAMDAT Mobile, a mobile games company that EA acquired in 2006 for $680MM following a very successful IPO in 2005. While at JAMDAT Nanea was the Management team member responsible for the Operations of the Deployment Group as well as all Central Technologies.
Prior to JAMDAT, Nanea has held key positions in product development and marketing for emerging new media and e-commerce companies, including eToys, eCompanies, and Venu Interactive.
