Mike Strasser has over 20 years of experience in product design and development consulting and has worked at a wide variety of companies including Apple, IDEO, NASA, and BMW. Mike is the Managing Member of Think2Build LLC a product design and engineering consultancy located in San Francisco. He has a BS in Mechanical Engineering from California
Polytechnic State University and an MSE in Product Design from Stanford University. Mike is on more than two-dozen patents for products ranging from medical devices to cell phones. He has worked on products such as the BACtrack blood alcohol tester, the first Apple optical mouse, printer technology for HP, furniture for Coalesse/Steelcase, the Tracker avalanche beacon, the Gerber manual breast pump, travel bags for Timbuk2, implantable medical devices, a sleep apnea oral appliance, the new FedEx dropbox, and packaging for Miller-Coors beer. Mike is a regular guest lecturer at Stanford and UC Berkeley and has been a coach at Stanford’s d.school since its inception. Mike has recently co-founded Motiv and was CEO, of a consumer products company in the wearables space.
