Michael Meltzer joined Sirota in 2001 and currently serves as its General Counsel.
Michael is the author of A Field Guide to Corporate Social Responsibility (The Docket of the Association of Corporate Counsel, April, 2008). He is also a co-author of The Enthusiastic Employee: How Companies Profit by Giving Workers What They Want (First Edition,
Wharton School Publishing, 2005), and has been featured in articles and seminars on that subject.
In addition, Michael has presented at legal and IO industry events, including previous SIOP meetings, on such topics as procuring professional services in large organizations, and on ethics, compliance and CSR issues.
Michael graduated from The George Washington University in Washington DC in 1972 and received a JD degree from Brooklyn Law School in 1975. He was admitted to practice in New York State in 1976. Mr. Meltzer actively practiced law in Manhattan for 25 years, focusing predominantly on business matters and real estate. During this time, he represented Sirota, ultimately becoming its general counsel.
