Ken is two-time GC of the year - Silicon Valley (2016) and American Lawyer (2021). He has been described as a “GC from the Future”. He is currently the CEO of Ozeki Technologies (Techstars NYC 2024), and early-stage AI company which automates the negotiations of any type of contract.
Ken as previous the General Counsel to Bitmovin (YC S15), a
technology leader in online video, with the fastest API-driven, cloud-based Video Encoding Service and an HTML5 Player for MPEG-DASH and HLS. Before Bitmovin, he founded the legal team at Cloudflare (NYSE:NET), where he led the company’s lead legal affairs, public policy, government relations, and trust & safety. He was part of the the company's leadership team which created a Silicon Valley unicorn, which was valued at more than $4.2 billion at IPO.
He has also out-innovated Google engineers. In developing Google’s public policy positions on mobile device security, Ken proposed certain technical solutions which the Google security team had not previously considered. This led to the company’s successfully prosecuting two patents on his behalf. Ken spent the early part of his career working on telecommunications policy, where he became an internationally recognized expert in Net Neutrality, IP-based interconnection, and unlicensed spectrum policy.
