Johnny Chen is the Partner at Inceptiv Law. He was the former General Counsel at DivX.
Most recently, he served as Associate General Counsel, with primary responsibilities in SEC compliance and corporate governance, technology licensing, financings, and intellectual property. Before that, he was our Senior Director of Intellectual Property,

Prior to joining DivX back in September 2004, Johnny was an associate at Ropes & Gray in Boston, representing technology and life sciences companies in the areas of corporate, licensing, and intellectual property law. He also has experience in the areas of litigation as an associate at Irell & Manella in Los Angeles, and patent prosecution as an associate at Darby & Darby, New York City.
