John Mulcahy PhD, is a Co-Founder and Vice President of Research at SiteOne. As a postdoctoral fellow and graduate student at Stanford, he developed methods for preparing a family of rare, naturally occurring sodium ion channel pore blockers from simple starting materials.
He received his A.B. degree from Harvard University, with concentrations
in Chemistry, Physics, and the Classics. Honors include a Stanford Dean’s Postdoctoral Fellowship, a National Science Foundation Predoctoral Fellowship, a Pfizer Summer Research Fellowship and a National Merit Scholarship. Dr. Mulcahy is also a Principal Investigator on multiple small business grants awarded to SiteOne by The National Institutes of Health.
