Jay Borenstein teaches Computer Science at Stanford University with a focus on Virtual Reality, Software Engineering and Entrepreneurship. Jay also runs the Education Modernization (EdMod) group at Facebook. EdMod initiatives have included Facebook inspirED, TechStart, VR Camp, and Facebook Open Academy which was a collaboration with top computer
science universities around the world, including, Stanford, MIT, Carnegie Mellon and University of Tokyo, among many others. Jay is also a Director at 6Seconds, The Emotional Intelligence Network. He also manages Chmod Ventures, a technology investment fund. Jay founded Integration Appliance in 2000 and was the CEO through 2007. Jay studied both as an undergraduate and graduate student at Stanford University.
