James has been with WI Harper since the very beginning. He is the DivX Ambassador and Advisory Board Member for DivX Inc, as well as Special Advisor for CyberLink and SunPlus. He is also serving as Independent Supervisor at the Board of Directors of E-ton Solar Tech.
Before joining WI Harper, James was spearheading the Pacific Century
CyberLabs, the incubation arm of PCCW within CyberWorks Ventures. Before PCCW, he worked in Singapore as Special Advisor to Singapore National Science & Technology Board, Strategic Director for national IT research institute Kent Ridge Digital Labs. He was appointed as Adjunct Associate Professor at the Center for Management of Innovation and Technopreneurship and School of Computing, National University of Singapore as well as Board of Director for Bio-Informatics Center.
James played an instrumental role in the Science & Technology R&D and Technopreneurship for Singapore. The Competitive Intelligence Group he started and managed in Singapore has won Overall Worldwide Excellence Award from the prestigious Society of Competitive Intelligence Professionals in 2000.
