Issac Roth is a silicon valley entrepreneur and investor.
He is best known for creating Red Hat OpenShift out of Red Hat cloud technologies and teams plus Makara, the PaaS startup where he was co-founder & CEO, and leading this effort as Red Hat PaaS Master from 2010 to 2013. He was founding CEO of StrongLoop, the node.js company.
While at
Red Hat he spoke at many cloud conferences and helped with Red Hat's mobile strategy, corporate and business development, leading corporate investments in Appcelerator and MongoDB.
He is one of the Wily Mafia, having been an early leader at Wily Technology which was acquired by CA, Inc and produced many successfully technology executives.
Currently he works at Shasta Ventures as Venture Advisor focused on Cloud, Mobile and Big Data.
