Gross joined the Sequoia Capital Heritage Fund as a Founding Member in January 2009. He serves as the Fund's Chief Operating Officer. Prior to founding the fund, Mr. Gross was a General Partner at Worldview Technology Partners, a $600 million multi-stage venture fund focused on information technology companies. He was responsible for sourcing
and making investments and served as a board member for software, semiconductor, and services start-ups. Prior to joining Worldview, Mr. Gross was a partner at Wilson, Sonsini, Goodrich & Rosati, a leading law firm representing high-technology companies. He co-founded and built the firm's Strategic Intellectual Property practice, representing more than one hundred public and private companies in complex transactions, federal and state courts, and proceedings before regulatory agencies. He also participated actively in firm management, serving on Wilson, Sonsini's operations, compensation, strategy, and investment committees. Mr. Gross received a JD, magna cum laude from Harvard Law School and a BS in Computer Science from Stanford University.
