Fred Howe is the Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board of Directors at MedImpact, which he founded in 1989. Prior to founding MedImpact, Fred owned and operated a chain of six pharmacies. With over 36 years of experience in the healthcare industry, Fred has worked closely with numerous health maintenance organizations and self-insured
groups to promote cost containment programs, clinical services, and information technology tools. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy from Idaho State University and has served on several professional and industry committees, including the Schering-Plough Advisory Board. Fred is also an active member with the Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy (AMCP).
