Ms Sabin is an entrepreneur, author, and founder of Watering Can Press; a publishing company that creates books that ”grow kids with character.”
Her award-winning titles include The Giving Book, The Autism Acceptance Book, The Nickels, Dimes, and Dollars Book, and many others. Her company, Watering Can Press (www.wateringcanpress.com), works
with major corporations, nonprofits, and communities to offer customized versions of their award-winning books to support clients’ cause marketing, sales, and/or community outreach objectives.
Prior to her current focus, Ellen spent her career working with, and managing, non-profit public health organizations that serve a wide range of social and community causes. Among other positions, she’s served as the President of The Flying Doctors of Africa (AMREF/usa), a Director at the American Medical Association, a Vice President at St. Vincent’s Hospital, and consultant for numerous nonprofits including international NGOs such as the Discovery Channel Foundation and Interaction as well as US based organizations including The Community for Education Foundation and the Lovelane Special Needs Riding Program.
She received her MPH degree from The Harvard School of Public Health, MPA from NYU, studied at the London School of Economics, and received her BA from Emory University.
