Steve Doyle is Head of PayFlex (Aetna Consumer Financial Services). In the 30 years that Steve Doyle has been with Aetna (and previously Prudential), he has held a variety of positions from Chief of Staff to Chief Financial Officer. Currently Steve is Head of Consumer Financial Services, Network Access Businesses and Corporate Strategic
Initiatives for all of Aetna Business Operations.
In his present position, Steve has been the executive sponsor of many critical initiatives including vendor consolidation, Local Market Strategy, Simplicity, Enterprise Content Management, and internal process analysis/revision. He was responsible for helping to develop the segmentation strategy at Aetna and the supporting Operating Models.
Steve Doyle is just as committed to his community activities as he is to his Aetna Career. For the last few years, he held the position of President of the United States Chess Federation, a National Organization with 80,000 members, where he was responsible for the development of chess in the U.S. He has also held the position of Vice President of the World Chess Federation, an International Organization with 150 member countries. Steve currently serves on four non-profit Boards, down from a high of nine. In his spare time, he is a chess columnist for the Newark Star Ledger.
