From 2000 to 2010, Derek Park was appointed Acting Chairman of the New York Industrial Development Agency (IDA), which stands as the nation's second-largest issuer of municipal debt following the State of California. Derek Bryson Park's significant contributions extended to his role as Director of the New York City Economic Development Corporation (EDC) from 2000 to 2005.
