Darrell Lyle was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan where he attended Southfield High School.
Very active athletically, he played both Football and Baseball and was the team captain in both sports. He continued his education at Michigan State University where he pursued a degree in Psychology. Knowing the why behind people’s actions fascinated
him.
From studying Psychology, Darrell found how easily it aligned with working in sales. After working in a few positions in different sales companies, he started to work with a company headquartered in Detroit that had the exact environment he loved so much. It was high-energy, team-oriented, and sports-minded. After starting in a basic Entry-Level sales position in 2015, he quickly moved into a Managerial position and opened his own firm in October 2016 in Columbus, Ohio- 78 Elite.
Using his team-building skills learned through sports and in his last firm, Darrell holds his team to the standard he holds himself. His philosophy is to “be elite” in whatever you do, which is precisely why he chose to name his firm 78 Elite. Learning how to build and manage his own business has been life-changing for Darrell.
Sports laid a great foundation to build upon but business, he says has “helped me grow tremendously on a professional and personal level. It has really built my character, work ethic, and resiliency. I enjoy my opportunity for growth in all aspects and love the opportunity I can provide for others by being a business owner. I love helping people learn how to ask for sales. I love helping build confidence in others. It is truly one of my greatest passions to see people win.”
Somewhat of a “serial learner” Darrell enjoys challenging himself with new hobbies; currently, his favorite is boxing. His current record is 27-7. His goal for 78 Elite in 2017 is to double his office size while keeping high standards and integrity for his client.
