Curt joined Scifiniti after leading the business development efforts at Intevac, Inc.
Previously, he worked with a number of venture-backed solar start-ups in a leadership capacity to close critical funding milestones and develop rapid go-to-market strategies.
Most notably, Curt was CEO at Astrowatt, an ultra-thin silicon solar substrate
company.
From 1994 to 2009, Curt held several executive and senior level positions at Applied Materials.
There he was general manager of a $400+ million silicon division, where he drove record profitability by extending the TAM to adjacent markets, releasing new products and improving operational efficiency.
Curt earned a B.Sc. degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois and M.Sc. degree in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University.
