Bryan Walser, MD, JD is the CEO and co-founder of ARC. He was previously CEO at Perlegen Sciences, Inc., a pioneering genomics firm. Prior to that, Dr. Walser served as the Vice President of Strategy and Corporate Affairs at Chiron Corporation, a top-tier global biotechnology company.
He also spent six years at the healthcare practice of the
Boston Consulting Group. Dr. Walser serves on the Board of GeneFluidics, Inc. He was an International Health Policy Fellow at F.Hoffmann-La Roche AG in Basel, Switzerland, as well as a Fulbright scholar in Yoygakarta, Indonesia.
He trained in Emergency Medicine at UCLA, and holds a BS in biology (with distinction) from Stanford University, an MD from the University of Virginia School of Medicine, and a JD, magna cum laude, from Harvard Law School.
