Bruce McInroy is a Director at WOM Chile. Bruce’s principal role is in sourcing and executing entry and exit deals. He is actively involved in portfolio companies, particularly so in companies in the high-tech and telecommunications industries.
During his tenure at Novator, Bruce has served as a board member at Tradus (the UK, which was formerly
known as QXL), Turknet (which was formerly known as NetOne), TransferTo (Singapore), Mo-de (Kenya), Play (Poland), Bulgarian Telecoms Company (now Vivacom), Netia (Poland), Forthnet (Greece), WOM (formerly Nextel Chile), and Be* Unlimited (UK).
Bruce earned his master’s degree in computer sciences from Trinity College, Cambridge, after which he acquired a broad range of experience in the telecommunication and technology sectors with BT before joining Novator in 2004. He also has accrued extensive experience in equities research, after having covered that field in the UK, as well as the European technology and telecom sector. More recently, he was employed by Deutsche Bank and Merrill Lynch as an investment banker.
Bruce is married and is the father of two children. Among his other interests are sailing and skiing at unfamiliar venues.
