Bill Slakey brings more than 20 years of experience improving financial performance and financial operations at public and private technology companies.
Slakey served as Chief Financial Officer for Extreme Networks where he played an important role in the company's return to profitability and led Extreme's Sarbanes-Oxley compliance program.
He was also Chief Financial Officer of Handspring, Inc., where he helped negotiate that company's successful merger with Palm Computing.
In addition, Slakey served as Chief Financial Officer for successful private companies including LiveOps Inc., SnapTrack and Tropos Networks.
Previously, Slakey held senior finance and investor relations positions at 3Com and Apple.
Slakey holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of California and an MBA from the Harvard Business School.
