Bill Ledingham is VP, Engineering for Verdasys. He is a seasoned technology professional with over 25 years of experience in bringing new technologies and companies to market. Bill most recently served as VP of Engineering at Avalere, a software company focused on information management and security, which was acquired by Iron Mountain Digital.
Prior to Avalere, he served as the initial VP of Marketing and Business Development at Virtual Iron, a server virtualization software company. Previously, Bill held a number of executive positions at SpeechWorks, a leader in speech-based solutions that IPO'd in 2000 and later merged with ScanSoft/Nuance in 2003
Bill holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and a M.S. in Industrial Engineering from Stanford University, and a MBA from Harvard University. Bill's honors include Tau Beta Pi, Phi Beta Kappa, and the Terman Engineering Award for graduating at top of Stanford's undergraduate engineering class.
