Allan is currently the SVP Engineering at Maven Clinic. Before that he was SVP Engineering at The New York Times where he was leading the majority of product engineering. Prior to that he was leading the software development at a health-focused startup in New York (Sum). Previously he was CTO at Chartbeat where he helped build both the product and
the team to a 50+ company from 3 people when he started. He is well versed in both frontend and backend technologies, and have prior to joining Chartbeat been involved in both open source development (Mozilla/Firefox) and standardization work (W3C).
