Multi-award-winning Chief Creative Officer Ajab Samrai is renowned for his bold creative work, partnering this with strategic thinking. Samrai’s unique set of skills has seen him win over £200 million worth of new business over the course of his career, as well as winning more than 300 professional commendations and awards. Samrai’s work has been
celebrated at all the top shows in the industry, including Cannes, One Show and D&AD, and as such, Samrai has cemented his reputation as one of the industry’s leading creative thinkers.
Born in 1964, Samrai studied Graphic Design and Advertising before being hired at Saatchi & Saatchi by Paul Arden, the company’s legendary Executive Creative Director. Samrai was quickly promoted to Creative Group Head and went on to establish himself as an expert in the global aviation and telecoms industries. Delta Airlines, British Airways and Japanese Airlines, as well as Sony, Philips, Vodafone and T-Mobile, are amongst the many brands that Samrai has worked with throughout his career.
Samrai’s previous positions include Global Creative Director on the British Airways account and Global Creative Director on the Vodafone account, as well as European Creative Director on the P&G, T-Mobile and Sony accounts.
In 2013 Samrai moved to Japan to become the Chief Creative Officer for O&M Group Japan and his success in this role led to his appointment as the Chief Creative Officer of O&M ASEAN in 2018.
In 2019, Samrai founded a new creative and strategic consultancy with two partners.
