WPP is a communications service group that provides marketing and communications solutions.
Its portfolio of services include advertising, media investment management, public relations, public affairs, healthcare communications, specialist communications, branding and identity services, and much more.
The company is also engaged in purchasing goods and services from of suppliers around the world and spends around £6 billion a year on advertising production, research operations, facilities, IT and telecoms, travel and entertainment, and professional and recruitment services.
In addition, it operates WPP digital, the digital business arm of WPP.
WPP has received a number of awards such as the Holding Company of the Year at the 2014 Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity and other awards for its annual reports and its digital unit.
