About the Company
Lumicell produces the LumiSystem, which combines an optical imaging agent called LUMISIGHT with the Lumicell Direct Visualization System. This drug-device platform functions by identifying enzymatic activity specific to tumor cells, which then triggers a fluorescent signal visible through a handheld probe. Surgeons use this technology as an adjunct
during breast-conserving procedures to scan the resection cavity and identify suspicious areas that may require further excision.
