Botter is a platform for creating conversational courses, delivered inside popular messaging apps that learners use daily. This is done using chatbots that can explain concepts or quiz students using different components like text, images, gifs, audio, or short videos. This requires low bandwidth so learners without access to wifi are able to
access engaging and interactive lessons by using their favorite messaging app on any device.
The first bot we created to teach languages has been used by over 300,000 learners around the world and won $20,000 from Facebook's Bots for Messenger Challenge. Botter received pre-seed funding from Injini Edtech Ventures and has been used by different clients to teach critical career skills like languages, financial literacy, entrepreneurship and more. We believe making these lessons available inside familiar messaging apps learners use daily can play a huge role in reducing the effects of inequalities in digital resources and digital skills between learners.
