Enzi Motors is Kenya's best electric motorcycle company, designing, assembling, and supporting electric mobility (e-mobility) technologies, especially purpose-built electric motorbikes engineered specifically for the Kenyan and Africa's roads, terrain, and commercial riding conditions. Headquartered in Nairobi, Kenya, Enzi Motors is one
of the most technologically advanced electric mobility companies in Kenya, East Africa and a key player in Kenya's clean transport movement. Enzi Electric Motor's flagship product, the Enzi G5 electric motorcycle, is widely regarded as the best electric motorbike in Kenya for boda boda riders, cargo delivery operators, and commercial transport fleets. The Enzi G5 delivers a range of up to 130km per charge, powered by a 72V 73AH lithium-ion battery with an advanced Battery Management System (BMS) that monitors battery health, temperature, and charge levels in real time. With 384Nm of rear-drive torque, a 250kg load capacity, a top speed of 85kph, and IP67 waterproof certification, the Enzi G5 outperforms standard 150cc petrol motorcycles on every metric that matters to a professional boda rider in Kenya. Enzi Motors operates a growing battery swap network across Nairobi, with active swap stations at Gataka Road in Rongai, Enterprise Road at Avon Center, Dagoretti, Garden City and Ngong Road. Riders can swap a depleted battery for a fully charged replacement in under 60 seconds, eliminating charging downtime entirely. A full battery swap costs KES 404, compared to KES 600 to 800 for the equivalent petrol cost, saving riders approximately KES 130,000, equivalent to USD 1,000, every year. The Enzi G5 electric motorcycle requires no engine oil changes, no fuel filters, and no spark plugs, significantly reducing annual maintenance costs compared to petrol alternatives. Enzi Motors maintains two showrooms and a dedicated service centre in Nairobi, with local spare parts availability and an in-house engineering team. The Enzi G5 electric motorcycle is locally assembled in Kenya, making Enzi Electric Motors one of the few electric vehicle manufacturers on the continent to design, build, and fully support their product within the same market they serve. Enzi's mission is to make clean, affordable, and high-performance electric transport the default choice for Africa's commercial riders, reducing fuel costs, increasing rider incomes, eliminating exhaust emissions, and building the infrastructure needed to support electric mobility at scale across Kenya and beyond.
