Allyus.org is a social network much like LinkedIn but designed specifically for politics. Our goal is to empower citizens and give politicians a tool for better decision-making. Some of the main features of the site are opinion polls with demographic data
analytics, anonymous user profiles to protect citizens identity, structured discussion threads clearly displaying each side of the discussion separately, petitions and a donation portal to name just a few. Politicians, activists, NGOs, and citizens can all create a profile on the site. Current social networks (e.g. Twitter, Facebook, etc.) provide very low organic reach for politicians because of the variety of content in the feed. This prevents them from getting their message out; forcing them to pay thousands of dollars in ads in order to do so. These other platforms provide no centralized place for discussion (post disappears after a day or two whilst bills take months to pass) and minimal data on who is involved in the conversation. They were built for a vast variety of topics/content, do not provide useful data, and have a proven track record of misusing personal data and censoring certain discussions. This puts Allyus, which is non-partisan and protects individual user data, at a strategic advantage. We will be able to show the politician (Customer), through zip-code matching, that the people they are talking to are their own voters and, through Blockchain verification, that they are real. This is something that other social networks do not provide today. We intend to monetize Allyus by providing politicians the equivalent of thousands of dollars in ad spend for a single low monthly fee. This gives them up to 100% organic reach to all of their voters (the most important user for a politician) while providing valuable mapped demographic information. These features give them a means to save time and run more efficient campaigns and outreach efforts. We will also be building an in-house donation portal which will allow us to take a small percentage of donations given to politicians. Given that voters are the most active donators to political causes, Allyus is in a unique position to capitalize on this relationship. We will also build out an ad revenue model in order to ensure that we have consistent revenue in the case that the aforementioned features take longer than expected to turn a profit. Once at scale, the larger aggregate data can be monetized as well without selling personal information. Allyus is raising 500k at a 4 million dollar valuation. The 500k will be used to build the revenue generating features for the site and scale up in preparation for 2020. We aim to return a minimum of 5X within 5 years based on our projections for the next two years (spreadsheet available upon request). Since launching our second Beta in November, we have signed up over a dozen politicians (Federal and State Level) with at least another dozen expressing serious interest. With our recently built mass on-boarding system which allows the politicians to upload and invite directly from their voter lists, Allyus is positioned to scale up rapidly for 2020.
