Born to Rabbi and Mrs. Paul Brenner in New York City, Zev Brenner went on to graduate from the New York City Technical College of the City University. He is an Orthodox Jewish radio host, and he founded his Radio/TV network Talkline Communications in 1981. In 1988 Brenner married Adena Karen Berkowitz, a lawyer and daughter of William
Berkowitz, the national president of the American Jewish Heritage Committee in New York.
Brenner is known as the only Orthodox Jew in the United States who serves as a talk-show host, and addressing many important but controversial topics in the Jewish community. Notable personalities like President Bill Clinton, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, Senators Joseph Lieberman and Charles Schumer; Israeli Prime Ministers Benjamin Netanyahu, former Vice President Dan Quayle, former Soviet Premier Mikhail Gorbachev has been included in Zev Brenner show.
He has also been working with advertisers in targeting Jewish and ethnic consumers as well as assisting budding broadcasters start their own radio and TV programs, and has helped launch Spanish TV network LTV and Russian Radio Channel New Life Broadcasting. For his efforts on behalf of the Jewish Community, Zev Brenner has received numerous awards.
