Currently, he is chairman and CEO of ABO Capital, formerly Angola Capital Investments (ACI). An Angola native, Campos quit his job with Sonangol, Angola’s giant state oil company, and started ACI with four colleagues several years ago. A
private international investment firm headquartered in Angola, ABO Capital invests in companies throughout Africa in the agriculture, healthcare, technology, energy, transportation, hospitality, and real estate sectors. ABO Capital currently has offices in Luanda, Angola with more planned in the U.S., Portugal and Dubai.
Mr. Campos sits on the board of Oshen Group S.A. Sphera Bluoshen S.A., a subsidiary of Oshen Group S.A., is committed to bringing high-quality healthcare services to nations around the globe with current activities in Angola, Morocco, and Rwanda. He is also a board member in Boost - Communication & Strategy, S.A.
Educated on three continents, Campos’s early years helped give him the perspective he needed to run an international company. Campos started first grade in Cuba, spent six years in the U.S. — including high school — and attended college in Portugal. Mr. Campos graduated from Lusiada University, Lisbon, with a degree in Law.
Mr. Campos has dedicated his career to creating global value for developing countries in Africa, while contributing to their economic development. Through his socially forward entrepreneurial spirit and diverse business portfolio, Mr. Campos is building opportunities in emerging markets, creating thousands of new job opportunities and bringing excellence to Africa.
