Zak founded Punchkick as a way to combine passions for technology, design, and—just as importantly—a place to build an open and supportive work culture. Zak oversaw Punchkick’s mobile strategies for clients when it was founded in 2006, before smartphones existed on the market. Zak is passionate about building internal cultures where managers don’t
exist, where teams can support clients and coworkers effectively and efficiently. Punchkick operates with a flat structure, has been on the Inc 5000 Fastest Growing Companies 5 years in a row, and has won multiple Best Places to Work in Chicago awards (including Crain’s). Zak is an ADDY Awards judge, has spoken at IRCE and multiple podcasts, and received his J.D. from Case Western Reserve University School of Law.
