Yuri Vanetik is an American financier, Business Strategist, Coalition Builder, and Philanthropist. He is the founding partner of Vanetik International, LLC, a Nevada-based private investment and business management consulting firm that specializes in private equity financing and merchant banking. In his role with Vanetik International, LLC, Yuri is
considered an expert in capital formation and mergers & acquisitions. For the past 20 years, he has taken on numerous financial leadership roles, helping to establish himself as a leader in a numerous industries.
In addition to his ventures with Vanetik International, LLC, Yuri Vanetik is also the Co-Founder and Managing Director for Dominion Partners, a technology-driven opportunity real estate fund that invests in undervalued real estate across the United States. His responsibilities for Dominion Partners include overseeing equity financing and joint ventures, and raising capital for the company.
Yuri Vanetik is also a dedicated philanthropist, and has gotten involved with a variety of causes that he cares deeply about. He is committed to many different causes, related to the arts, children’s health, and his personal business endeavors. He was appointed as a member of the board of directors for Miracles For Kids, a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting families who have a child with a serious illness. Additionally, he was appointed to the board of directors for the Center for Global Change, a charity that provides assistance to the abused, neglected and underprivileged orphans around the world. Most recently, Yuri Vanetik was named as a founding member for the International Executive Council, a business leadership organization focused on innovation, growth, and impacting the next generation. Because of his passion for helping others in need, he joined the Gen Next Foundation's board of directors when it first opened in 2008, and remains as an active member today.
He has served on the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors of the American Cross, and is the Lincoln Fellow with the Claremont Institute. None of these enterprises, however, are as important nor as fulfilling as his passion for education, which cuts across many disciplines. In order to help others on all fronts, Yuri Vanetik founded the Vanetik Foundation, which inspires and creates positive change across multiple disciplines.
Yuri Vanetik earned his Bachelor’s degree in Legal Studies with a focus on Political Science, History and Philosophy from the University of California, Berkeley. He went on to earn his Juris Doctor (JD) from the University of California, Hastings, where he was also the President of the International Law Society, and the recipient of the coveted American Jurisprudence Award. In 2000, Yuri decided to return to school to complete a degree in management from the University of California’s coveted Anderson Business School. He has always been passionate about furthering his education, leading him to graduate from the Wharton School Aresty Institute of Executive Education's program, Corporate Governance Essentials for New Directors in 2003.
After finishing his law degree, Yuri Vanetik entered law in the 1990’s, beginning his career at K & L Gates in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. After building his experience, Yuri went on to serve as the founding partner of Iger, Koehler, & Vanetik, LLP, a law firm specializing in corporate governance, public listings, counseling boards of publicly traded companies and representing independent directors, and committees they serve. Through his work in law, Yuri has acquired a wealth of knowledge of finance in business.
