Yoshio Ujihara has worked for Nipro Group (HQ: Osaka, Japan) for more than 35 years, and has been credited with establishing the foundation of the group’s international business operations.
He has also been involved in the development of a large number of products. He is a professional engineer, having studied electronics, telecommunications
and optical engineering.
At present, he heads the Nipro Group’s president’s secretarial section, acting as secretary to the president, mainly for foreign business affairs. He concurrently serves as head of foreign product development, where he is responsible for coordination of large-scale overseas deals. He has made significant contributions in local Japanese promotion of products from European and U.S. manufactures.
In recent years, Yoshio Ujihara has shown deep commitment to a medical equipment donation program under which dialysis equipment has been donated to more than 20 medical institutions in developing countries over the past eight years.
