Mingyao Xia is the VP of Engineering at Asoka USA Corporation. A member of the Asoka team since the company’s inception in 2001, Ming Yao has 16 years of experience in new product development at high technology companies and is experienced in all facets of new product development management. Before becoming vice president of engineering, Ming Yao
served from 2001-2009 as director of hardware engineering in Asoka’s China operation.
Prior to joining Asoka, Ming Yao was the R & D manager for new product design & development at Varitronix International Ltd. for six years, and before Varitronix engineering in a foreign capital company and a China nationalization corporation for he was a design engineer focused on product design and three years.
Ming Yao holds a BS degree in Electrical Engineering.
