As Director of Engineering, William Janning is responsible for guiding the technical vision and direction for Kannuu API interfaces as well as promoting continuous product innovation. Driving the company through leadership and innovation, Bill manages Kannuu's server engineering and operations functions while combining with other leaders
ders on product management areas.
Bill has worked in real-time digital telecommunications areas for 24 years and prior to Kannuu he was a Senior Architect for VoIP solutions for Avaya, Inc. In this role, he was responsible for product architecture and development on Avaya SIP VoIP products, and is familiar with multiple protocols as well as implementing and tuning real-time systems and tools. Prior to this Bill was a software architect for Nortel Networks and was part of a team that created the initial SIP VoIP products for Nortel that have received numerous awards. He also worked on other various carrier and enterprise products for Nortel and holds multiple patents in the SIP, call processing and switching areas.
