William Dolan is President and Head of Digital Banking at TAPP Engine.
He previously worked as the Head of Fidelity Corporate actions Solutions, a wholly owned subsidiary of Fidelity Investments. Prior to this role, Mr. Dolan was senior vice president, Brokerage Products for Fidelity Institutional. In that role, he was responsible for leading
the Brokerage Products group, which covers all individual securities products and services, market data and research, cash and lending products and international expansion. Mr. Dolan joined Fidelity Investments in 2004 with Fidelity Capital Markets Services and moved to National Financial in 2006 where he served as senior vice president, International/Institutional Product Management for National Financial. In addition, he led the cross Fidelity International brokerage program aimed at expanding Fidelity's global capabilities, including the creation of Fidelity Clearing Canada in Toronto, ON. Prior to joining Fidelity Investments, Mr. Dolan worked at Knight Capital Group in Jersey City, NJ from 2000 to 2004. While at Knight, Mr. Dolan was vice president of the Institutional Equity department responsible for business development and analysis. He also held senior positions in business strategy and technology program management. Previously, he was employed with American Institutes for Research (AIR) in Concord, Massachusetts. As senior research scientist and marketing manager, Mr. Dolan led more than 75 technology management consulting engagements and directed the firm’s marketing efforts. While at AIR, Mr. Dolan helped develop trading systems for the NYSE, authored several articles published in technical journals and was awarded two U.S. Patents for product designs.Mr. Dolan received a bachelor of science degree in engineering design from Tufts University in 1993 and earned a master of business administration degree from the F.W. Olin School of Management at Babson College in 2000. Mr. Dolan is a member of the SIFMA Institutional Brokerage Committee and holds his FINRA Series 7, 63 and 24 licenses.
