"Mr. William Candeletti is the inventor and the patent holder of the DuraSweeper. He invented this machine while working as a Police Officer. While on patrol he was alerted to be on the look out for a tractor trailer with snow on its rooftop. The alert was sent after a motorist was killed from the dislodging snow. It was then that he came up
with the idea of creating a machine that could easily remove accumulated rooftop snow so that the motoring public will not have to endure this type of hazard while driving on this countries roadways.
During his Police tenure Lt. Candeletti was the Commanding Officer of the departments afternoon shift, also the officer in charge of the departments motorcycle squad. He accumulated over 100 commendations during his 28 plus year career. Mr. Candeletti retired from the Police dept., in 2006 with the rank of Lieutenant. Currently he is a Supervisory Investigator for Medicare conducting large scale fraud investigations."
