Will joined Movement Capital in 2016 and is focused on broadening the startup ecosystem by connecting the global investment community to top-class entrepreneurs and businesses in Emerging Markets. His previous experience comes from the energy sector, via Gazprom Marketing & Trading and the Penspen Group. Will has worked across roles in M&A,
strategy and business development. The jump to Movement was driven by his desire to undertake a role with purpose and the new challenge of facilitating funding for exciting, disruptive companies.
Will has a BA from Durham University and a Master of Commerce from the University of Sydney (he got bored of surfing on Bondi Beach every day so came back home to London). If you're in London, you can most likely find Will at a gig (in his opinion, the best city in the world for live music) and he’s also a passionate fan of vinyl records, brightly-coloured sneakers and Newcastle United.
