Will O'Brien is a NYC-based entrepreneur specializing in marketing, business development and early stage companies. Will is also a DJ, producer and sound engineer.
Music has been a part of Will's life since he was a child. He started playing guitar and piano at the age of 8, won a local battle of the bands as a 14 year old and
started working as a DJ by age16. His experiences as a DJ range from proms, to weddings, to NYC clubs. As he entered college, he used this passion for all things relating to music to teach himself music production, as well as launch his first record label.
Will's record label, Wild Society Records, took off when he signed artists Noah Peel and HVGO. Along with artist promotion, Will was the resident DJ at the main club in his college town and started his own event based DJ business that thrived.
Will started his career in branding and partnerships while interning at the Cleveland based Superlative Group, the country’s foremost expert specializing in the selling of the naming rights and corporate sponsorships to ballparks, stadiums and arenas, as well as municipally owned public assets and infrastructure projects.
Upon graduating from Miami University, Will headed to NYC to pursue a career in music, marketing and technology. After becoming one of SoundScope's first customers, his enthusiasm for the product and music tech expertise made him a perfect match for SoundScope.
