Will is the CEO and Co-Founder of Pickpocket, focusing on engineering and product. Prior to deciding to use his financial powers for good, he spent five years running risk management at Symphony Asset Management in San Francisco. Before risk management, he spent four years in hedge fund operations at Symphony working with clients, accounting, sales
and marketing. During his tenure he led several large projects from conception through adoption, including an enterprise data warehouse and the formation of the risk management group. Passionate about improving things, he wanted to bring high finance to the financially challenged, and Pickpocket was born. A lifelong learner with no patience for the irrelevant, he's mustered one degree from three universities. He graduated from UC Berkeley with a degree in Political Science, studied graduate International Relations for two years at the American University in Cairo and dabbled in Predictive Analytics at Northwestern University's master's program for several years before turning his full attention to applying theory toward a greater good.
