Whitney joins Village Capital as the Associate for U.S. Agriculture, where she engages and supports agricultural entrepreneurs that are developing tools to help farmers grow healthier, accessible and more sustainable food. Whitney was first drawn to agriculture while working abroad in Tanzania for a microfinance institution, witnessing firsthand
the importance of agriculture worldwide and opportunity and need for innovation. Upon returning to the U.S., Whitney worked at Earthbound Farm, an organic produce company based in California. She recently completed her Masters at UC Davis in International Agricultural Development where she specialized in Agricultural Resource Economics.
