Wes Stucky is the President of Development Management, Inc. Previously, Wes was President and CEO of the Ardmore Chamber of Commerce, Ardmore Development Authority, Ardmore Tourism Authority and the Ardmore Chamber Foundation.
Wes has served as Chairman on numerous organizations including the Governor’s Economic Development Team, the Governor’s
International Team, Oklahoma Economic Development Council, and the Oklahoma Chamber of Commerce Executives Association. Wes has served as an instructor at the Economic Development Institute and the Institute for Organizational Management. He is a frequent speaker on education, leadership, economic development and chamber of commerce topics to professional groups and trade associations with speaking engagements or seminar presentations across the nation.
Wes was named as an Honorary Life Member of the International Economic Development Council in 2007. He joins a group of less than 100 that have received this designation in the 75 year history of the organization. In 2002, he received the Leadership Award for Public Service from IEDC and thus has become the first person in history to have attained both distinctions and awards from this national association. He has also been recognized in Oklahoma as a leading economic developer and is the only person to have twice been named as the Oklahoma Economic Developer of the year. Wes has also been recognized for his work in the Chamber profession having recently been selected to the Oklahoma Chamber of Commerce Hall of Fame.
Wes holds a Masters Degree from the University of Northern Colorado and has worked in Chamber and economic development positions in Kansas City and Baton Rouge but has applied his trade in Ardmore for the past 23 years.
Wes serves on the Board of StandardsWork, a national education consultancy and is currently serving as a Commissioner and previously served as Chairman of the Oklahoma Aeronautics Commission.
